1. Who we are
Organic Search Inc. (“Organic Search”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing agency headquartered at 350 Fifth Avenue, Floor 36, New York, NY 10118, United States, with additional offices in Miami, Florida and Beverly Hills, California.
This Privacy Policy applies to organicsearch.nyc and to the services we provide to our clients. It explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use this website or submit information to us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you complete the contact form on this site, email us, or call us, we collect the information you choose to provide. That typically includes:
- Your name and business or practice name
- Email address and phone number
- The service you are interested in
- Whatever you write in the message field
We ask only for what we need to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send us sensitive personal information — including health information, government identifiers or payment card numbers — through the website contact form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through server logs and through the analytics tools described below.
Information from our clients
When we work with a client, we receive access to accounts and data that the client controls — advertising accounts, analytics properties, business profiles, websites and CRM exports. We act on the client’s instructions with respect to that data. See section 6.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal
- Provide, deliver and improve our services
- Communicate with you about your project or account
- Understand how this website is used, so we can make it better
- Measure the performance of our own marketing
- Detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are analytics or advertising cookies that help us understand traffic and measure campaign performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete them. Blocking all cookies may affect how parts of this site work. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and from participating vendors at optout.aboutads.info.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law.
5. Google services
We use several Google products on this website and in our business:
- Google Analytics — to understand aggregate site usage. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google Ads and remarketing — Google and its partners may serve our ads across the internet and may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website.
- Google Search Console and Google Business Profile — for search performance and local listing management.
Information handled by Google under these products is subject to Google’s own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Client advertising account data
As an agency, we manage advertising accounts on behalf of our clients. This section explains how we handle that data.
In short: client advertising data belongs to the client. We access it only to manage and report on that client’s own campaigns, we do not combine it across clients, and we do not sell it or use it to build any product.
- Client Google Ads accounts are owned by the client and linked to the Organic Search Google Ads Manager (MCC) account with the client’s authorization.
- We access the Google Ads API to retrieve campaign performance data from the accounts we manage, for internal reporting, budget pacing, anomaly monitoring and the monthly reports we deliver to that client.
- Our use of the Google Ads API is governed by the Google Ads API Terms of Service and Google’s applicable policies. We access only the accounts we are authorized to manage.
- We do not aggregate one client’s advertising data with another’s, do not disclose one client’s data to another client, and do not use client advertising data to train or build any external product or dataset.
- Access is limited to the personnel assigned to that client’s account and is revoked when the engagement ends or when the access is no longer required.
- The same principles apply to other advertising and analytics platforms we access on a client’s behalf, including Meta, Microsoft Advertising and analytics providers.
7. How we share information
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that support our operations — website hosting, email, analytics, CRM, scheduling, cloud storage and accounting — process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Advertising and analytics platforms. As described in sections 4 through 6.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to by law, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.
- Business transfers. If Organic Search is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify affected individuals where required.
8. Data retention
We keep inquiry and prospect information for up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterward as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes — typically seven years. Server logs are retained for a shorter period. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, multi-factor authentication on business-critical accounts, and role-based permissions for client platform access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Opt out of targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights of portability, restriction and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at organicsearchnyc@gmail.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are asking about data held in a client’s advertising or analytics account, we will refer the request to that client, who is the controller of that data.
11. Children’s privacy
This website and our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
